PAGASA is currently monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) over the waters of San Juan, Batangas.

PAGASA is currently keeping an eye on a low-pressure area (LPA) situated over the waters of San Juan, Batangas.

As per the latest weather forecast released on Tuesday afternoon, the LPA is expected to result in cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, and Bulacan.

The easterlies will bring about cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Isabela, Quirino, and Aurora, as well as partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Visayas and Mindanao.

The rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

These weather systems may lead to flash floods or landslides in affected areas.

Moreover, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters are anticipated throughout the country.
