Authorities investigating the death of Jennifer Abbott in north London are considering a potential connection to her disappeared diamond-encrusted Rolex watch, according to murder detectives.
The 69-year-old was found with stab wounds at her residence in Camden on June 13. Known professionally as Sarah Steinberg, Abbott was a well-liked figure in the area near Regent's Park.
Neighbors last saw her walking her Corgi dog on June 10, three days before emergency services were alerted.
While investigators are exploring various motives for the crime, they are specifically seeking information about the missing Rolex watch, which has a unique diamond-encrusted face.
One neighbor, who chose to remain anonymous, recounted the discovery of Abbott's body by her son and niece. Describing Abbott as vibrant and lively, she expressed shock at the tragic incident.
The post-mortem examination revealed that Abbott's cause of death was sharp force trauma. No suspects have been apprehended at this time.
