Authorities in Talisay, Batangas, have apprehended a man accused of fatally shooting a singer during a bingo game. According to a report by Ian Cruz on 'Saksi,' the suspect approached the victim under the guise of offering a singing gig at a party, only to shoot him in the head moments later.

Through CCTV footage, law enforcement was able to identify and locate the suspect in a nearby compound. They recovered a .45 caliber pistol believed to be the murder weapon, as well as the jacket, cap, and motorcycle used by the suspect to flee the scene.

The investigation revealed that the suspect was hired to carry out the killing. Despite denying the allegations, he will be facing murder charges. The victim's family has confirmed his identity and is urging the suspect to disclose the mastermind behind the crime.

Authorities noted that the suspect had recently posted bail for unrelated firearm possession and election gun ban violations. Efforts are ongoing to locate the mastermind and an accomplice who acted as a lookout, with revenge being considered as a possible motive for the murder.
