Industrialist Sunjay Kapur, the former husband of actor Karisma Kapoor, passed away in London at the age of 53 due to a heart attack while playing polo. At his funeral, Karisma, along with their children Samaira and Kiaan, paid their respects to the late businessman.

A video from the funeral showed Karisma in a white suit offering floral tributes to her ex-husband, with Samaira and Kiaan by her side. The funeral, held at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground in New Delhi, was attended by family members and well-wishers.

Earlier, Karisma and her children were seen at the Mumbai airport as they headed to Delhi for the funeral. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were also spotted at the airport later on. A prayer meeting is scheduled to take place on June 22 at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi, as per a note shared on social media by Sunjay's family members.

Sunjay Kapur's sudden demise was a result of a heart attack during a polo match in London. While initial reports suggested a bee sting incident, the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed. Sunjay and Karisma got married in 2003 and have two children together. They finalized their divorce in 2016.
