Lord Henry will lie in repose at Slane Castle on Tuesday, 24 June, with visitation hours from 3pm to 7pm for those wishing to pay their respects.

The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, 25 June at 12pm at St Patrick's Church of Ireland in Slane.

Following the service, attendees are invited to offer their condolences at Slane Castle.

Earlier today, the gates of Slane Castle were opened to the public for individuals to pay their respects and sign a Book of Condolence in honor of the late music promoter and custodian of one of Ireland's most iconic venues.

Lord Henry Mount Charles was renowned for hosting legendary rock concerts at his ancestral home of Slane Castle in Co Meath.

In a statement, his son Alex, the Marquess Conyngham, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received by the family.

The Book of Condolence will be available for signing on the grounds of Slane Castle today and tomorrow from 10am to 6pm.

This provides an opportunity for individuals who knew Lord Henry, experienced the magic of Slane, or simply want to convey their sympathies to come together in his memory at a place he cherished deeply.

The family also thanked everyone for their support and requested privacy during this time of mourning.

Lord Henry is survived by his wife Lady Iona, and children Alexander, Henrietta, Wolfe, and Tamara.
