Former England football star Andy Carroll found himself in trouble with Greek police after a series of arguments with his girlfriend Lou Teasdale during their holiday in Mykonos. The 36-year-old was questioned twice by authorities following incidents at a restaurant and their hotel on the Greek party island, as reported by the Sun on Sunday.

One of the incidents involved Carroll being visibly drunk and using inappropriate language towards his partner at a restaurant, according to a worker at the Nikolus Tavern. Police intervened, but Carroll was allowed to return to his girlfriend after a chat with the authorities. Later that night, hotel staff reported damage in their room, leading to another police visit.

Despite being taken to the police station for questioning, Carroll was not arrested, and no further action was taken. A hotel employee confirmed that Carroll had broken a door during the incident. Lou Teasdale spent the night at Soho Roc House following the altercation.

A joint statement from the couple downplayed the events, describing the situation as a private disagreement that was blown out of proportion. Carroll and Teasdale emphasized that no one was arrested or charged, and they are looking forward to their future together.

Carroll and Teasdale began dating last year after Carroll's separation from his TOWIE star wife Billi Mucklow. The footballer confirmed the end of his marriage with Mucklow after two years of a turbulent relationship. The couple faced challenges in their marriage, including a publicized incident in Dubai during Carroll's stag do.

Carroll and Mucklow share three children, while Mucklow also raises Carroll's two children from a previous relationship. Despite their separation and impending divorce, Carroll and Mucklow are committed to an amicable co-parenting relationship for the sake of their family.
