The Critérium du Dauphiné is a traditional road cycling warm-up race ahead of the Tour de France, held in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of southeast France.
The 77th edition runs from Sunday 8 to Sunday 15 June, covering 1,201.9 km over eight stages—including an individual time trial on stage four.
Defending champion Primož Roglič (Red Bull–Bora–Hansgrohe) is absent this year, having withdrawn from the Giro d’Italia due to a shoulder injury.
Still, the start list is stacked with talent, headlined by recent Tour de France winners Tadej Pogačar (2020, 2021, 2024) and Jonas Vingegaard (2022, 2023). Olympic champion Remco Evenepoel is also among the contenders for the general classification.
