Swedish activist Greta Thunberg was deported from Israel after the Israeli navy intercepted her and a group of pro-Palestinian activists attempting to sail to Gaza. Thunberg, 22, was sent to France before continuing on to Sweden. Three others from the charity vessel were also repatriated, while eight crew members are challenging their deportation order.

Thunberg, known for her environmental activism, typically avoids air travel due to carbon emissions. She was seen on a plane to Paris after the incident.
