The Silent Hill remake has been revealed during Konami Press Start showcase.

A recent announcement during Konami's Press Start showcase revealed a Silent Hill remake is currently in development. The game is a collaboration between Bloober Team and Konami, with only the status of being 'in development' confirmed so far.

The reveal trailer featured the iconic Silent Hill 1 intro theme, signaling that this remake will bring back the original game in the renowned horror series.

This remake follows Bloober Team's successful Silent Hill 2 remake from 1999, which received both critical acclaim and commercial success. Eurogamer's review of the Silent Hill 2 remake praised the team for expanding the game in the right areas while preserving its essence.

While Silent Hill 1 was previously reimagined in 2009 with Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, this upcoming remake will be the first full treatment of the original game. Bloober Team, known for their attention to detail, is also working on Cronos: The New Dawn.
