Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband and businessman Sunjay Kapoor tragically passed away in England while playing Polo due to a heart attack at the age of 53. Reports suggest that Sunjay accidentally swallowed a bee during the game, which ultimately led to the fatal heart attack.

Dr. Farah Husain, a senior anaesthesiologist and intensivist in New Delhi, explained that a bee sting can be life-threatening, causing a severe allergic response known as anaphylaxis. This can result in breathing difficulties, cardiovascular collapse, and even death if not treated promptly.

Dr. Bhupendra Singh, a Consultant- Cardiology at Manipal Hospital, Ghaziabad, also highlighted that a bee sting can trigger cardiac arrest by inducing hypersensitivity in the body. The venom in the sting can affect heart rate, blood pressure, and potentially lead to a fatal outcome.

The news of Sunjay Kapoor's passing was confirmed by Suhel Seth on X, expressing deep sorrow and offering condolences to his family and colleagues. At the time of his death, Sunjay was married to entrepreneur and former model Priya Sachdev, leaving behind his wife and three children.
