Kaja Sokola, who testified against Harvey Weinstein in his New York retrial, discusses his acquittal on her charge and her sister's betrayal in court.

Kaja Sokola recently testified in Harvey Weinstein's New York retrial, detailing two alleged instances of sexual assault. Despite his acquittal, the former model turned psychotherapist revealed that the most devastating part of the trial was her sister's betrayal. Ewa Sokola provided the defense with a private journal that was used against Kaja in court, leading to strained family relationships.

During the trial, Ewa testified for the prosecution, confirming a lunch meeting with Weinstein in 2006. However, the defense pointed out that Kaja never met Weinstein in 2002, questioning her credibility. Despite the verdict, Sokola remains resolute in holding Weinstein accountable for his actions.

Following the mistrial declaration, attorney Arthur Aidala criticized Sokola's response, claiming that the jury did not believe her. Sokola's lawyer Lindsay Goldbrum refuted these claims, emphasizing the high burden of proof in such cases.

Despite the challenges, Sokola remains determined to see justice served and sends a powerful message to Weinstein and his legal team.
