According to Merseyside's police chief, one individual is still in the hospital three weeks after a car plowed into a crowd during Liverpool FC's victory parade. The incident on 26 May resulted in over 100 injuries as the vehicle struck supporters celebrating on Water Street in Liverpool.
During a police scrutiny meeting, Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy revealed that one person is still hospitalized, while two others have been discharged. Paul Doyle, a 53-year-old from Croxteth Park in Liverpool, faces seven charges following the crash and is scheduled to appear in court on 14 August.
